Hi, I'm Sophie

Founder of Light Up ADHD |
ADHD Coach, Mum, and ADHDer
My ADHD story
Getting my ADHD diagnosis
as an adult was a real turning point.
Suddenly, so many things that had happened in my life
started to make sense.
Through coaching, I learned more about how my brain works,
embraced my strengths, and found practical ways to work
with my brain rather than against it
– creating a life that feels more aligned with who I am.
My coaching background
That experience led me to train as an ADHD Coach
through the ICF-accredited School of ADHD Coaching,
combining professional coaching skills
with my own lived experience of ADHD.
My background is in storytelling and creative leadership, with experience spanning the BBC, agencies, and charity sector. It shapes the way I approach coaching – seeing possibilities, recognising strengths, and finding
personalised strategies rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.
Who I work with
I work with
ADHD mums,
burnt-out professionals,
dual-neurodivergent and
mixed-neurotype couples.
Together, we explore how
ADHD shows up in your life,
build practical strategies
that work with your brain,
and find a more
sustainable way forward
– with greater clarity,
confidence, and self-understanding.
A space to be understood
Whether you’re navigating the demands of family life,
burnout, or challenges in your relationship,
I offer an empathetic, non-judgemental space
where you can feel understood, supported,
and encouraged to make changes that work for you.
Understanding your ADHD brain
When you understand
how your brain works,
you can start creating a life
that works with you
– a life where you can truly light up.

My approach
